Arguably not as famous as the Chuck Taylor counterpart but the Converse Jack Purcell is still a rich slice of heritage footwear from Converse and a more premium tiered product. Rich leather uppers and unique rubber toebox.
Originally designed to optimise his performance on the badminton court, Mr Jack Purcell’s classic sneakers still maintain a modern appeal. This canvas-lined pair is constructed from durable black leather allowing you to wear them whatever the weather. Keep them casually cool with a striped T-shirt and your favourite sweatpants.
It’s the price point of Converse trainers that make it very hard not to buy a pair every month!

Nike have certainly been enjoying the latest gym fad, with many of their once outdated models coming back to fruition in 2014. The once ‘chavvy’ renowned trainers have now turned retro/chic and like every fashion trend have come back around….
One thing for sure is that Nike are looking to maximise the trend and infuse some originality. Something they have achieved exceptionally well with the X Liberty Collection, fusing tradition and sport for a bold summer statement. The collection sees some of Nike’s most celebrated footwear transformed by an array of timeless Liberty London floral prints for a cool summer look rooted in sports culture.
The footwear collection consists of a mix of heritage and modern Nike styles. The culture of running is celebrated via the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Nike Roshe Run, Nike Internationalist, Nike Blazer and the Dunk Sky Hi.
The Nike x Liberty Collection launched in Liberty London on April 7th, selling out within a couple of weeks. On May 7th the collection went on sale in OFFICE.
Some of this collection are fetching north of £180 a pair on eBay.
